Found Treasures, Keepsakes, Comics and Jewelry

 I think many of us love ‘things’, whatever that may be for you.  I grew up with an abusive father. And a mother who worked a lot to keep food on the table and a roof over our heads.  So, I retreated into fantasy books, mostly Comics! I actually really sprung into learning how to read, when I found out my local library would give you a comic out of this box if you read so many pages of books.  So, naturally, I read as much as I could.  So much that the librarian and my mother thought I was cheating, but after each ‘test’ they gave me on what the books where about that I read, they found out I was not cheating and was very much invested in recieving my comics.  The stories captivated me and told me a simple truth that I really clung to: heros come from the darkest of places sometimes, anyone could be a hero, and that sometimes good guys had to go through rough times to become something great.  It helped me deal with the environment I was in and really cultivated the mind I have today and Ideals.

I also loved finding things, trinkets, unusual objects that no one seemed to know what they were for.  I really loved toys too.  Something about having things made me feel safe too.  And then, discovering others that were just as happy as me with their things.  Or giving someone a new treasure on their birthday, oh my Goddess, I loved seeing people’s reactions to recieving something they loved.  I found the power and magic in things at a young age. Naturally or maybe not so naturally, I learned how to make art and things on my own.

I am an artist, and I use many forms for the expression of my art. I love creating. I have always enjoyed making jewelry and as I have delved deeper into that interest, I found new ways of making jewelry. I brought those items to vending events, and they sold! It feels so good to see your art making people happy and the world a more beautiful place. I have since moved into altering clothes into art as well.  Not to mention, I have a fond love for Dungeons and Dragons and building 3D art for campaigns.

Besides creating new art and recycling things into new art.  I love just finding old books and beautiful things, whatever they might be and selling them.  My website is full of many wonders and I hope you can find something with a little magic for you or someone you hold dear.
